Welcome to Ocean's Freedom ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms.
Who can use it
You may use the general ocean features if you can form a binding agreement under your local law. The social features (profiles, following, crews) are for users 18 and over only.
What we offer
An ocean lifestyle and travel platform: personality quizzes, an interactive ocean map, conditions and tides, marine sightings, a travel passport and dive log, an AI companion (Vibe), and optional social features.

The conditions, tides, weather, hazard, and dive information on Ocean's Freedom is for general information only. It is not a substitute for official forecasts, local knowledge, proper training, or your own judgment. Ocean activities like diving, surfing, freediving, and sailing are inherently dangerous. Do not rely on this site for safety-critical decisions. Always check official sources and stay within your training and limits. You take part in ocean activities at your own risk, and we are not liable for decisions you make based on the information here.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no scraping or overloading it, no illegal, harmful, hateful, or deceptive content, no impersonation, and no harassing other users.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you create (sightings, logs, profile, etc.). You grant us a license to host and display it so we can run the service. You are responsible for your content, and we may moderate or remove content that breaks these terms.
Affiliate and third-party links
Some links take you to partner sites (tours, gear). Those are governed by the partner's terms, and we may earn a commission. We are not responsible for third-party sites or products.
Intellectual property
The site, its design, the Ocean's Freedom brand, and the Vibe companion are ours. Don't copy or reuse them without permission.
Third-party data
Ocean and marine data comes from third-party sources and is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy or availability.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent allowed by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for losses arising from your use of the site or reliance on its information.
Indemnity
You agree to cover claims arising from your misuse of the site or your content.
Termination
We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms. You can stop using the site and delete your account anytime.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, and disputes will be handled in the courts located in Santa Clara County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new effective date here.
